༄༅། །ཤེས་རིག་ལང་ཚོའི་དཔལ་གྱིས་རབ་ཏུ་ཕྱུག་པའི་རྒྱ་ཆེའི་སྨྱུག་ཐོགས་པ་ཡོངས་ཀྱི་སྙན་དབང་དེུ།

Articles for Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche’€™s Felicitation Volume

Attention all interested poets and writers across the globe,

As we know, 5th November 2014 is the 75th birthday of His Eminence the Professor Samdhong Rinpoche. In admiration of his vast knowledge in philosophy and many other fields, and in gratitude for his services and contributions towards Tibetan community in both spiritual and secular matters, the alumni of the Central University of Tibetan Studies (CUTS), Varanasi will be marking this day with a grand celebration at CUTS.

Taking the opportunity on this occasion, Lha Charitable Trust, Institute for social work and Education, in collaboration with some young Tibetans spontaneously and voluntarily, plan to publish a book to be brought out as a felicitation volume in honor of Professor Samdhong Rinpoche. We are creating this platform for everyone to send their message or greeting through articles, write-ups, etc. to Rinpoche on his birthday. Therefore, we would like to invite writers and poets around the world to contribute their writings (in Tibetan or English language) in acclamation of Rinpoche’€™s immeasurable services and contributions towards the Tibetan society. There are no word limits or specific topics. The final decision, whether or not to publish your writing, will be made by the editorial board. All the interested writers are requested to send their writings with their names and brief introduction on or before 30th September 2014 on the details below.
